Lantern of Knowledge Secondary School are the AMS UK Shield champions following a thrilling 3-2 win over fellow Londoners Jamiatul Ummah School in the tournament finale.
After progressing smoothly through the group stages, quarter and semi finals the team had a tough task ahead of them in the final. In an exhibition match, the final got underway.
The game was locked at 1-1 when Lantern of Knowledge scored two goals in quick succession to take a decisive advantage. Jamiatul Ummah pulled a goal back and threw everything to level the game but the Lantern defence held on for a 3-2 win.
It was a great tournament and all the teams should be congratulated, and of course a big well done to the LoK team!
